“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” — Luke 14:11
In Luke 14, Jesus turns the world's definition of greatness upside down. At a dinner table filled with religious leaders, He teaches that true honor comes through humility, true hospitality welcomes those who cannot repay us, and true discipleship requires counting the cost before following Him. Pastor Scott reminded us that Kingdom disciples don't pursue recognition—they pursue Christ. The path to being exalted in God's Kingdom begins with choosing humility, embracing sacrifice, and faithfully following wherever Jesus leads.
